Björn Sundmark
Professor

Björn Sundmark is Professor of English literature at Malmö University (Sweden), where he teaches “Children’s Literature in a Global Perspective” and “Intercultural Perspectives on Children’s Literature.” He has published numerous articles on children’s literature, and is the author of the study Alice in the Oral-Literary Continuum (1999). He is the editor (together with Christopher Kelen) of The Nation in Children’s Literature (Routledge) and Child Autonomy and Child Governance in Children’s Literature: Where Children Rule (forthcoming, Routledge). He is, moreover, the journal editor of Bookbird – Journal of International Children’s Literature and associate editor of Barnboken—Journal of Children’s Literature Research.
